The Kamik story starts with the Cook family: dedicated footwear manufacturers who set out to deliver comfort and quality. To this day, they are still looking for new ways to improve. It’s part of their pioneering tradition. And a longstanding heritage they’re always happy to share.

They’re proud to say that they’ve been operating in their Canadian home base since their start, alongside their extended family of over 400 employees. Each new pair of Kamik footwear comes with over 120+ years of history and expertise. That’s not to say they’re old fashioned. Even after over a century of proven quality, they’re still looking for new, sustainable ways to improve— from the manufacturing process right down to the finished product. It’s a longstanding commitment to keeping feet warm, dry, comfortable, and happy.

At Kamik, they've learned that developing a variety of operations around the world and shipping internationally allows them to get their products to market easier, be a leading eco-manufacturer by reducing fuel costs and water consumption and treat their employees better by paying a higher wage.
