Silicone can withstand both hot and cold temperatures and doesn't warp or damage under prolonged exposure. Silicone has the capacity to evenly distribute heat and the ability to cool instantly after heated and can be safely used in the microwave, freezer, and in the top rack of the dishwasher.

When washing silicone products by hand, we recommend using unscented, natural, non-oily soaps and detergents. Dish soaps that contain essential oils, antibacterial agents and moisturizes stick to silicone and leave a soapy after-taste. 

When washing silicone products in dishwashers, we suggest using a gel detergent over powder pods for your dishwasher to avoid this soapy after-taste as well.

Do not use abrasive sponges and cleaners. Do not sterilize. Discard at first sign of deterioration. 

* Please note that silicone products with wood components should not be washed in the dishwasher. To keep the wooden components in its best condition, gently hand wash with warm soapy water and do not submerge it in water. Apply a food grade wood polish when needed.
